This house might not look as amazing as other houses out there, but still, there is something charming in its simplicity. Its design combines modernity with a rustic feel while maintaining its clean look and functionality. This style is clearly shown in the simple white walls and the white wooden floor.
The living room is airy and spacious. While the walls, floor, and ceiling are all white, the furniture has more touches of colors to make the overall look more cheerful and fresh. There is an ornate and colorful carpet on the floor of the seating area. The sofa is dark grey with orange cushions on it. Orange flowers can also be seen on the coffee table in front of the sofa, on the bookshelf standing at one side of the room, and on the windowsills. The wall behind the sofa is decorated with paintings which also have orange as their dominant tone. But the main attraction of this roomis the white fireplace and chimney at the corner of the room. Standing almost all the way to the ceiling, this fireplace might also be the most interesting thing in the entire house.
Like the living room, the kitchen is also dominated by white color, with a decorative carpet and several potted plants as a refreshing touch. On the corridor outside the living room, there was a workplace comprised of a black desk, two white chairs, a simple bookshelf on the wall, and a white pendant lamp above them. I think it is amazing how they managed to turn such a little space into a functional and comfortable room. A similarly effective usage of space can also be seen on the shoe racks tucked in the corner of the corridor outside the bedroom.
The bedroom itself is quite different from the other rooms in this house. While still understated, it has more touch of luxury and elegance on it. The walls are covered in fancy wallpaper, and a crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling at the center of the room. The wood planks are warm brown instead of white, making the room looks warmer and more opulent. I think this particular room provides a nice balance to the other rooms of the house which are more minimalistic. Don’t you think so?
